GWP Group CEO discusses the EU referendum on Radio 4

David Pedley was invited on to the BBC Radio Four’s Today Programme to give his views on the up-coming EU Referendum.

The UK public will be given a chance to vote on whether or not to remain in the European Union on Thursday 23 June 2016.

This is not the first time that our CEO and GWP Group have been featured in the media and given the opportunity to comment on current affairs and the world of business.

The interview which took place at Dotty’s Old Town Café in Swindon, was part of a selection of interviews held yesterday morning by the BBC’s Nick Robinson.

Prior to speaking to GWP Group’s CEO, Nick Robinson spoke to a range of local residents, business leaders and farmers about their views on whether Britain should stay in the EU.

David Pedley gave his views on the benefits and risks for businesses such as GWP Group on opting out, and staying, in the European Union.

David discussed risks of opting out of the European Union including increased competition for business. He also mentioned though that staying in the European Union could also be a risk due to the rising social costs associated with EU membership.
