Selecting The Right Option
How to choose the right handling and / or storage products for your business
GWP Correx® are fairly unique in that we allow your business to source a much wider range of handling or storage products than many other suppliers.
Whilst this includes stock products – such as the SSI Schaefer range of moulded bins and containers, an in house design team and extensive manufacturing capability also means you can source completely custom products, tailored to your exact requirements.
This allows you to not only source a wide range of Correx® products, but also alternative material such as bubbleboard and even corrugated cardboard.
All of these materials – and the varying structural designs available – will offer differing balances between strength, longevity and cost.
Whilst a GWP adviser will be happy to offer impartial advice on the best option for your business, it means that there is a suitable option for almost every specific application and / or environment.
Short Lead Times
Besides the range of standard products available, an extensive stock holding of material allows short lead times on both high and low volume manufacture.
As such, both the extensive selection of stock products, as well as sheet materials, can be supplied within as little as 48 hours for urgent requirements.
And even if you require a completely bespoke design for a specific application, an expert Correx® design team are able to quickly and efficiently create designs, prototypes and samples to ensure lead times are kept to a minimum.

Common questions regarding handling / storage products
Please see below for a list of frequently asked questions regarding handling and storage products.

What handling products can be manufactured from Correx®?
Virtually any handling or storage product can be manufactured from Correx®. The versatility of the material means that picking bins, storage containers, handling totes, trays, dividers and inserts and even packaging can all be produced from this material.
Is Correx® or moulded plastic better for handling / storage items?
Your specific application will determine whether you should use a Correx® or moulded plastic product. Correx® is generally more cost effective and can be produced to virtually any size, whilst moulded plastic totes and bins are marginally more hardwearing and durable, but only available in specific sizes.
Can I have my bins / containers manufactured to specific sizes?
If you opt for a Correx® bin or container then you can specify the exact dimensions you require. This means you can accommodate awkward sized items, or ensure that the available space in your warehouse or production facility is maximised fully.
Can you produce one off items?
Whilst it is possible to produce one off items from Correx®, doing so can be prohibitively expensive. In this case it may be better to use an off the shelf moulded product, but if you are unsure then please contact a GWP team member who will be able to advise the most suitable option.
Can these products aid my business’ productivity?
Using the correct handling and storage products can dramatically improve your efficiency and productivity. Handling totes can allow for easier movement of items around your production facility, whereas picking bins can allow for much higher storage density and easier retrieval of items too.
