Collapsible Totes

Foldable plastic containers

If you need a handling or storage solution that minimises space when not in use, collapsible totes are your best option.

Collapsible tote boxes are foldable plastic containers. Manufactured using Correx® corrugated plastic, the tote boxes are quick and easy to fold, flatten, or reassemble as required. This feature makes foldable plastic containers ideal for use in supply chains, as they take up little space on a return journey when empty.

At GWP Correx®, we can manufacture your collapsible packaging in standard Euro container sizes or custom dimensions as required. We can also offer a wide range of insert options, including dividers and foam dunnage, which themselves can minimise space when not in use.

FAQs

How do collapsible tote boxes work?

Thanks to clever design, users can fold collapsible tote boxes flat when not in use. When assembled and fixed with poppers or other fasteners, they provide strength and durability throughout the supply chain.

Why should I use collapsible totes?

One of the often-cited complaints about Euro containers and many Correx® totes is that they take up considerable space when empty. In contrast, the main benefit of collapsible totes is that your team can fold them flat when not in use. This feature not only saves you expensive warehousing space but also means you do not pay to ship empty space inside the totes on any return journeys.

What are collapsible tote boxes manufactured from?

Custom tote boxes and other collapsible plastic containers typically use Correx® material in their manufacture. Correx® is a corrugated plastic (polypropylene) that specialist packaging manufacturers can fabricate into a range of returnable packaging. The material is also resistant to water, grease, and most chemicals. Correx® is also strong, durable, and long-lasting.

What applications are collapsible tote boxes suitable for?

Using a collapsible tote box is an excellent option if you are struggling with storage space in your factory or warehouse, or looking to improve the efficiency of your distribution (i.e., return transit). As you can fold these tote boxes flat when not in use, they take up considerably less space in your warehouse, minimise transport requirements for return journeys as part of your supply chain loop, and mean staff can fold totes flat when empty on assembly lines.

Are anti-static or conductive versions of these totes available?

If you are transporting sensitive electronic items, an ESD-safe version of these collapsible totes is available. Manufactured using Corriplast (effectively a conductive Correx®), they offer all the benefits of the standard collapsible tote boxes with added static protection.
