Corrugated cardboard shelf bins
If you’re looking for a low-cost, environmentally friendly storage option, you should consider cardboard parts bins.
Cardboard parts bins are corrugated cardboard storage boxes with open fronts/tops. The design allows for the storage and easy retrieval of small parts, products and components by warehouse, production or fulfilment staff. Typically supplied flat-packed, cardboard bins are easy to assemble with no requirement for glue or tape. The corrugated cardboard material is also cost effective and eco-friendly.
At GWP Correx®, as well as plastic picking bins, we can also design and manufacture custom cardboard parts bins to your exact requirements. Options include industry-standard (K bin) sizes or bespoke dimensions tailored to your inventory or warehouse. All of the cardboard we use to make your corrugated parts bins is also FSC-certified.
Please note: Correx® is a registered and/or unregistered trademark of Corplex Plastics UK Ltd, its parent, subsidiaries and/or affiliates.

FAQs
What applications are cardboard parts storage bins suitable for?
Cardboard parts storage bins are suited to a wide range of applications. These include eCommerce order fulfilment, storing parts in workshops, moving parts and components on assembly and production lines, and any environment requiring storage for parts or products.
Can cardboard parts be printed?
All cardboard picking bins you source from GWP can feature printing. Print can include handling instructions, label areas, product codes (if your inventory does not change regularly), and, of course, your company branding. Labelling is a lower-cost, but still effective, option.
Are cardboard parts bins moisture-resistant?
Although it is possible to treat cardboard picking bins with Liquiguard coating to make them water-resistant, if a degree of waterproofing is required, Correx® parts bins are generally a better option. Corrugated cardboard becomes soggy and structurally unsound when exposed to excessive moisture.
Is it possible to stack cardboard parts bins?
Businesses generally opt to use standard cardboard parts bins due to their low cost. As such, it is not possible to stack most basic formats. However, if this is a requirement, parts bins with stacking features or lids are available. You could also opt for stacking cardboard pick bins or moulded plastic parts bins, both of which stack by default.
Are cardboard parts bins compatible with warehouse racking?
The standard sizes of cardboard parts bins typically work with both imperial and metric shelving standards (hence their often-referred-to name, cardboard shelf bins). However, using corrugated cardboard allows you to specify your cardboard bins in practically any size, enabling them to be tailored to provide the most efficient setup for your business.
