Official UK distributors of B&W International cases
Source cost effective hard cases with foam for your business or application
If you are looking for cost effective protection for your business’ tools or equipment, B&W cases are a great option.
B&W cases are a range of waterproof equipment cases, using an ultra tough polypropylene shell to protect their contents. The B&W Outdoor case range is available in more than 15 sizes and 3 standard colours. There are also specialist cases for audio equipment, transporting hazardous goods and B&W tool cases.
B&W cases are also very competitively priced – often being the lowest cost option when comparing similar equipment. Throw in a vast range of customisation options – including bezel kits, backpacks, lid organisers, mountable wall brackets and bespoke foam inserts – and you have a truly exceptional plastic/carry case option.
As official UK distributors of B&W Outdoor cases, your business can source these high-performance yet low cost waterproof cases – with foam inserts – from GWP.
Why use B&W cases?
Low cost cases that don't compromise performance or features
One of the newer waterproof cases available – being developed in Germany in 1998 – B&W cases are a low cost, almost budget solution.
But that would be doing these cases a disservice. They boast a vast range of features comparable to the more premium case options such as Peli and Explorer. Combined with extensive testing and accreditations, B&W International cases are a great choice regardless of your budget or intended use.
B&W hard cases are available in 15 standard sizes, each of which boasts an exceptionally tough polypropylene construction (PP). There are also dedicated cases for audio equipment, toolboxes, and even a unique case that is effectively a portable power source. B&W cases are also among the few options available if you need to transport hazardous goods, including lithium batteries, safely.
Besides this, B&W Cases are IP67 rated (making them thoroughly water and dust resistant) and offer a 30-year manufacturer’s warranty/guarantee.
And finally, any B&W case can be enhanced and customised for increased suitability to a specific application. Custom options include bespoke foam inserts, bezel kits, lid organisers, print and labelling. You can even select a kit that allows the protective cases to be wall-mounted or worn as a backpack.
B&W case features
All of the features (and more) you would expect of a high end, premium case

Polypropylene outer shell
The rigid polypropylene material used for the construction of the case ensures that they are dimensionally stable, extremely tough, and exceptionally long-lasting/durable. Besides this, it means the cases have an operating temperature of between -30 ° C and +80 ° C.

Quick release hinges
Whilst the standard hinges are robust, long-lasting and easy to use, there is also the option of detachable/quick release hinges. These allow the case’s lid to be removed entirely (if required) for easier access to the contents.

Stackable
The moulded, interlocking patterns on the case exterior allow for easy stacking of B&W cases, compared to many alternative options. This feature improves safety and efficiency (in terms of space requirements) when the cases are in storage or transit.

Latches and locks
The latches used on the B&W case range are easy to operate and last across thousands of uses. Moulded eyelets also allow all B&W cases to be secured using standard padlocks (sold separately).

Handles
The rubberised handles provide excellent levels of comfort and aid usability. Larger cases (i.e. those that feature wheels) also include a telescopic handle, allowing more effortless movement and handling.

Seal
An all-around seal ensures that the cases are fully water and dust-tight (with an IP67 rating). The seal effectively ensures that the contents of any B&W case are kept safe and dry. Regardless of the environment and conditions they face, protection is maintained.

Pressure release valve
The integrated pressure relief valve equalises pressure between the inside and outside of the case. This feature enables case transportation in the hold of an aircraft without “popping” open. Pressure equalisation also helps if the case is submerged.

Inline wheels
The oversized cases in the B&W range, alongside their telescopic handle, also feature inline wheels to improve the handling/movement of the case. The design of these ensures both smooth operation and also excellent longevity.
Custom B&W cases
Enhance your waterproof cases with a range of options and accessories
Tailored to be an exact fit for your equipment, B&W cases with foam inserts (manufactured by GWP in the UK using Plastazote) can eliminate damage.

Hazardous goods
With the inclusion of Cirrux inserts, B&W cases can be fully UN Approved (UN3480 / UN3090) for the safe transit of hazardous goods, including Lithium-Ion batteries.

Print and branding
Printed B&W cases – using either screen or digital print methods – can allow you to add company branding, part or kit numbers, handling instructions, and other helpful info.

Lid organiser
The standard B&W case lid organiser is ideal for documents, contains a laptop strap, and is configurable in various ways to help improve organisation.

Padded dividers
The B&W padded dividers are suitable for basic protection or low volume requirements. GWP recommends custom foam for high value or delicate equipment.

Bezels
With a slot-in mounting system secured with screw fixings, both plastic and metal bezel kits allow mounting electronics while remaining fully waterproof.
Easy to modify cubed foam inserts in the lid and base of the standard B&W cases are an excellent choice for low volumes and basic levels of protection.

Shoulder strap
The B&W shoulder strap fits most cases and is size adjustable (min 106 cm/max 201 cm). The padded section also provides additional comfort for the user.

Ruck-sack kit
Most B&W cases can be converted into a backpack using this kit (for easier handling), boasting adjustable straps and comfort padding sections.

Wall mount
A unique option among waterproof cases, the panel, with slot-in mounting and screw fixings, allows you to mount B&W cases on walls for improved storage.

B&W Outdoor case testing and certification
UN approved protective case
Besides the wide range of features packed into the B&W outdoor cases, they have also undergone extensive testing. These tests include being certified to STANAG 4280, DEF STAN 81-41 and ATA 300, and IP67 rated (completely water and dust-tight).
The ultra-tough polypropylene (PP) shell also ensures durability and structural integrity and is operational between -30 ° C to +80 ° C.
Besides this high level of performance, there is another key benefit that the B&W case specifications allow for – being UN certified for hazardous goods. This certification includes the transit of lithium-Ion batteries.
Using Cirrux inserts (or fire retardant Plastazote), B&W cases can be supplied with the relevant certification for use according to UN regulations (UN3480 / UN3090). This accreditation makes them a serious alternative to the Zarges battery boxes for applications of this type.
Finally, all B&W cases provide a 30-year manufacturer’s guarantee.
