SKB iSeries features

SKB iSeries cases boast a wealth of useful features as standard, making them easy and comfortable to use.

Pressure relief valve

The ambient pressure equalisation valve, tested to MIL-STD 810G, equalises pressure between the inside and outside of the case, protecting the contents and preventing vacuum lock.

Cushion grip handle

The rubber over-moulded cushion grip handle is incredibly comfortable, even when carrying heavy equipment long distances. The handles also “snap down” to minimise the cases’ overall size.

Moulded in hinge

The metal hinges of the SKB cases are moulded directly into the polypropylene material, providing a much more durable and long-lasting (yet easy-to-use) solution.

Ultra tough construction

The ultra-tough polypropylene used in the construction of the iSeries range is as much as 30 per cent lighter than similar cases while being two and a half times stronger.

Trigger release latch

The patented trigger release latches on the iSeries cases are incredibly easy to use and maintain an extremely secure and robust closure.

Padlock loops

The moulded padlock loops accommodate locks with a shackle of up to 5/16″. This feature ensures your contents remain secure when not with the case.

Wheels

The roller blade style wheels, along with a telescopic handle, are standard on larger cases to allow for more effortless movement and handling.

Gasket seal

The iSeries cases feature a completely water—and dust-tight gasket seal that passes the tests required for the MIL-STD 810G standard.

What size SKB iSeries cases are there?

The SKB iSeries range offers nearly 60 different sizes. The smallest is 197 x 54 x 32 mm, while the largest is 1521 x 457 x 203 mm (internal dimensions).

Can I add custom foam to SKB cases?
