SKB 3i Waterproof Cases
Injection moulded waterproof cases for industrial applications
The SKB iSeries – the most popular and widely used of all SKB cases – is amongst the leading waterproof cases available today.
With a range of almost 60 different sizes and options, the ultra-high strength polypropylene copolymer resin used to manufacture the cases makes them incredibly tough, fully waterproof (IP67 rated) and resistant to solvents, corrosion and being crushed.
Please see below for the range of SKB iSeries cases that you can purchase – and enhance with foam inserts – from GWP Protective.

Market leading waterproof equipment cases
Ideal for protecting expensive or specialist tools and equipment (not to mention cameras, electronics, AV equipment etc.), the SKB 3i case range is used by a huge range of businesses and industries throughout the world.
Being resistant to crushing and impact, as well as being unaffected by solvents, most chemicals, fungus and corrosion, the ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin from which the protective cases are manufactured, provides exceptional performance.
Besides this, the gasketed, water and dust tight, submersible design (MIL-C-4150J) also features a number of features which aids strength and durability still further.
This includes moulded in hinges, automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C), and incredibly secure latches. The patented “trigger release” latch system also makes opening and closing the cases quick and easy.
The cushion grip handles on three sides (which snap-down and are rubber over-moulded) make both lifting and carrying exceptionally comfortable too.
And, last but not least, the SKB iSeries cases are provided with full lifetime guarantee.
Custom SKB iSeries Cases
SKB cases offer a number of potential customisation options straight out of the box.
This includes bezel kits for mounting electronics within the case, shoulder straps on smaller cases, divider sets, and cubed foam inserts (whereby you can easily modify the foam yourself).
However, you can also specify completely custom foam inserts for your chosen SKB iSeries case(s) that are tailored specifically to your product. These inserts, manufactured from Plastazote, can also provide a very specific (indeed calculated) level of cushioning protection during transit.
From an aesthetic point of view, it is possible of course to select from the different standard case colours available, but also a completely bespoke hue if your order volume is high enough.
Your foam inserts can also be tailored to match your brand colours, and assist with tool / product identification.
Laser etching on the foam can also add logos and instructions, whilst the cases exterior can be enhanced with screen printing, digital printing, or labelling (including vinyl wraps) as a cheaper option.

Buy SKB i Series Cases
More than just a waterproof case supplier
Any company could sell you a SKB iSeries case (or indeed any one of the multitude of waterproof case options). So why get yours from GWP Protective?
Well, there are a number of compelling reasons.
First of these is that GWP has been in business for over 25 years. In this time, we have helped literally thousands of companies just like yours in sourcing the most suitable protective case for their application, product, or industry.
Further to this, being an independent company means that you can choose from a wider range of cases than you can find elsewhere, and can also benefit from honest, impartial (and free) advice on the best option for your specific requirements.
Perhaps even more important than this though, is you having the ability to source case and foam inserts from a single supplier.
But why is this important?
Crucially, it means the fit and compatibility between case and foam is greatly improved compared with sourcing them separately. Buying together also reduces costs, minimises admin, and lowers lead times.
Add this to an experienced design team, services such as just in time supply and dedicated customer support staff, and the choice of where to get your cases from seems obvious…
