Corrugated plastic small parts bins
Correx® parts bins are a great choice for storing smaller items and parts where you have existing racking or shelving.
Correx® parts bins feature an open-front design that allows for quick retrieval of parts and products. Used within racking or on shelves, they maximise available storage space whilst protecting and organising inventory (helping improve staff efficiency). Correx® parts storage bins are available in bespoke sizes, fold flat when not in use, and are more durable and long-lasting than cardboard parts bins.
At GWP Correx®, we can design and manufacture corrugated plastic bins to your exact specifications. Our in-house designers and experts can also provide guidance on the best option for your business, including site visits to understand your picking processes and identify potential areas for improvement.

FAQs
Why should I use Correx® parts bins?
Correx® parts bins provide several benefits. The Correx® material is strong, durable, and resistant to moisture, dust, grease, etc. Correx® parts bins are also easy to clean, further enhancing their longevity. They can also be stored flat when not in use, saving space. Perhaps most importantly, however, Correx® parts bins are available in bespoke sizes, allowing you to maximise space in your warehouse or fulfilment centre.
What is the difference between parts bins and shelf bins?
Parts bins and shelf bins are essentially the same product. Small parts bins are commonly used to store screws, nuts, bolts, and other small components, and may also include a louvre for wall mounting. Although they look the same, shelf bins are often larger and used to store and organise products or larger parts before being “picked” for dispatch.
Are Correx® plastic parts bins stackable?
Whilst it is possible to stack some types of moulded plastic parts bins and Correx® stackable shelf bins, shelf bins are typically used one high in racking or shelving. This setup usually does not allow much free space above for stacking. However, if you require stacking pick bins, you can source them from GWP Correx®.
What size shelf bins are available?
Whilst numerous stock sizes are available, they can vary from supplier to supplier. These discrepancies can lead to issues with bin and racking compatibility, as well as inefficient use of space (effectively, you pay to store fresh air). It is possible to manufacture Correx® shelf bins to any existing size or design, or to a bespoke specification.
Are Correx® bins better than cardboard parts bins?
Depending on the application, Correx® bins may be a better choice than cardboard bins. However, there are many applications where the additional strength and longevity provided by Correx® shelf bins aren’t required, making cardboard bins a more suitable option due to their lower price. As GWP provides both Correx® and cardboard shelf bins, we can offer genuinely impartial advice on the best solution for your business.
