Durable waterproof equipment cases packed with innovation and features

Nanuk cases are one of the newest options available in the competitive waterproof case market but are very quickly growing in popularity.

Manufactured from impact resistant NK-7 resin that absorbs shocks without damaging the items inside, Nanuk cases are also IP67 rated (i.e. entirely waterproof). This has meant they are already widely used by, amongst others, search and rescue teams, first responders, military, industrial, marine and diving professionals.

Please see below for the full range of Nanuk Cases available to purchase (and customise with foam inserts, branding etc.) from GWP.

More Info on Nanuk Cases

Waterproof equipment cases with a wide range of featuresn

Despite being amongst the newer waterproof case options currently available, Nanuk cases have quickly carved out an excellent reputation for themselves. This is due to a number of reasons.

Perhaps their biggest advantage over some of their more established rivals, is the number of standard features that are optional extras (at additional cost) on most other cases. As a result, this makes them incredibly cost effective.

As just one example, each case has an integrated bezel, meaning that electronics equipment can be easily mounted into the case without the need for exterior drilling. These bezel kits would need to be purchased separately for virtually every other case.

Another notable benefit of Nanuk cases is their wide range of colour options, with nine different hues to choose from in total.

Of course, Nanuk Cases offer all of the features and performance that are expected from this type of protective case as well. This includes comfortable handles, pressure relief valve, inline wheels on larger cases, integral lid stay and a durable “power claw” latch system.

Nanuk Case protection / performance

Frequently used in the rescue sector, marine transportation, and diving industries (as well as broad range of industrial applications), Nanuk cases are ideal for any application where protection of tools or equipment is required.

The advanced NK-7 resin used to manufacture the cases is impact-resistant, lightweight, and boasts thick, strong walls. They are also fully water and dust proof, being IP 67 rated.

Plus, as with Storm Case™ and other waterproof case ranges, Nanuk products are also offered with a full lifetime guarantee from the manufacturer.

As such, not only do the cases provide exceptional protection for your items, but they also ensure that the case is an investment for the life of your project, application or business.

Custom Nanuk Cases

Any Nanuk case your business uses can have its performance further enhanced through the inclusion of customised foam. These will typically be designed and manufactured so that your Nanuk case foam inserts not only fit the cases perfectly, but also the items to be housed inside.

These foam inserts can also be tailored to offer an extremely precise level of cushioning protection, ensuring that delicate, expensive or highly calibrated items will be kept safe and secure.

Laser etching can also be used to enhance the interiors with branding, part numbers and instructions as required.

And finally, talking of customisation options, the exterior of the cases can be branded too. This can be through either screen printing, labelling or even digital print depending on the application and / or market.

All of this can make an already great case become precisely tailored to your exact specification.

Nanuk Case FAQs

Commonly asked questions regarding Nanuk cases

As one of the newer waterproof cases options available, it is usual to have a number of questions if considering them for use at your business.

The below section covers the most commonly asked of these but, if you have any further questions, please contact a member of the GWP team on 01722 416 440 (or by emailing protective@gwp.co.uk).

Are Nanuk Cases any good?

Designed and manufactured to an exceptionally high standard, Nanuk cases are engineered to protect items during the toughest of missions. Nanuk cases are also completely water and dust proof (IP67 rated), impact resistant, stackable and supplied with a lifetime guarantee!

What Nanuk Case alternatives are there?

Nanuk cases are viewed as a direct competitor to the most popular waterproof cases currently available (arguably the Storm Case™ and Peli™ brand cases). Other options include Explorer, SKB, B&W and Hardigg. With all of these cases providing similar performance, which one you choose will usually come down to budget, features and available sizes / colours.

Why should I use Nanuk Cases?

One of the key selling points of Nanuk cases, is the number of features that are included as standard which on other cases, need to be specified at additional cost. The main example of this is the integral bezel kit, as well as the lid stay and wide colour choice.

What applications are Nanuk Cases suited to?

Nanuk cases are commonly used in a range of industries and applications. This includes (but is not limited to) photographers, videographers, drone operators / pilots, sports equipment, police and emergency services, military, medical professionals, and many others beside. In fact, any delicate, expensive or irreplaceable item will benefit from the protection offered by these cases.

What colour Nanuk cases are available?

Nanuk cases are available in one of the widest ranges of colour options of any waterproof case. This includes black, orange, yellow, silver, graphite, tan, blue and red.

What are Nanuk cases manufactured from?

Nanuk cases are produced using injection moulding, and utilise an ultra-tough and lightweight NK7 resin (i.e. nylon) material. As well as being exceptionally tough, it also means Nanuk cases are fully waterproof and resist deformation and fatigue.

What size Nanuk Cases are there?

Nanuk cases are available in a range of 27 sizes (although new models are being added all the time). The smallest of these (the 903) is 188 x 124 x 79 mm, with the largest (995 model) being 1321 x 368 x 152 mm.

Buy Nanuk Cases

Official UK sellers of Nanuk cases

If your business is looking to source Nanuk cases (or Peli, Storm, Explorer, B&W etc.), then you can select from the full range by working with GWP.

However, whilst choosing a suitable outer case is important, what can be equally critical is getting the right foam inserts as well. These can provide the exact level of protection you require.

Yet it can seem a hassle having to source case and foam from separate suppliers and can often result in issues with regards to fit, compatibility and quality too.

GWP Protective buck this trend. We can offer you a single source supply of both your case and foam together, reducing costs and improving quality.

Couple this with the widest range of branded protective cases – plus custom-built options and completely impartial advice on the best one for your specific requirements – and GWP becomes your one stop shop regardless of the protective case solution you require.

So, if you think that Nanuk Cases would be suitable for your application, please speak with a member of the GWP team for further advice and a free, no obligation quotation.
