Plastic tray manufacturers
If you handle large volumes of components, parts, assemblies or smaller items at your business, industrial plastic trays can have a significant, positive impact on your efficiency.
Industrial plastic trays, manufactured from Correx® or vacuum-formed plastic, are lightweight, durable, reusable, assist packing and unpacking, allow for safe handling and movement of items, and can maximise space and staff efficiency. They can also be stackable or nestable, are easy to clean, and do not shed fibres (as foam or cardboard trays can).
At GWP Correx®, we have been plastic tray manufacturers for over 25 years. As the UK’s largest independent converter of Correx® material, we have the knowledge, people, manufacturing equipment, and infrastructure to provide your business with industrial trays precisely tailored to your requirements.

What our customers say...

We previously used cardboard but needed something more robust and with better performance around water. GWP supplied us with company branded Correx tote trays to transport water samples back to the lab. Lead time and price were both excellent. The team and service was quick, reliable, helpful and friendly.
Danielle Roach | Latis Scientific

GWP are friendly and easy to deal with, great customer service and give quick responses/answers on via both email and over the phone. Products are good quality, quick lead times and we like that they are able to provide samples before the customer proceeds with an order.

FAQs
What applications are industrial plastic trays used for?
Industrial plastic trays are popular for in-plant handling applications. Unlike tote boxes or containers that businesses typically use for automated handling and as returnable transit packaging, plastic trays tend to be smaller and shallower to aid manual handling.
Are plastic trays suitable for medical applications?
Plastic trays are widely used for medical or pharmaceutical applications. Their suitability for these industries is due to the non-shedding nature of the material (i.e., they do not generate fibres that could contaminate products), their easy-to-clean surfaces, and their ability to withstand a range of temperatures.
Are there insert options for plastic trays?
There are several insert options available for plastic trays. Inserts can include simple Correx® dividers to help separate products, custom inserts with bespoke-shaped recesses for specific parts, and even foam dunnage, which cushions its contents from shock, impact and vibration. Bubble board – which is suitable for creating textile dividers that protect against scuffs and surface marking – is also growing in popularity.
Are industrial plastic trays stackable?
It is possible to source several different stacking tray options. These improve space efficiency when trays are loaded with products, minimising overall storage requirements and allowing more parts or components to be present on assembly lines.
What is the difference between plastic trays and tote boxes?
Whilst the two terms are commonly interchangeable in many industries, plastic trays typically refer to smaller, shallower options that only contain a single layer of product. Tote boxes, such as euro containers or Correx® totes, are generally larger, used for heavier components or parts, may contain multiple levels of product, and are also commonly used as part of a wider supply chain as returnable transit packaging.
