Foam tote liners
If your Euro containers or tote boxes are not providing the protection your delicate parts or components need, tote box foam can make a significant difference.
Tote box foam, such as foam tote liners, dividers or custom inlays, is an insert placed within outer handling containers. The foam helps to separate parts, cushions them, and also provides a soft surface in contact with the items, preventing transit or handling damage. Tote box foam can also help speed up packing and unpacking, directly improving staff productivity.
At GWP, we not only manufacture and supply a wide range of bespoke Correx totes, Euro containers and other tote boxes, but can also fully customise them with foam or other inserts. Our expert foam design team, coupled with our extensive UK foam conversion facility and more than 30 years of experience, enables us to produce custom foam inserts tailored to your exact requirements.

What our customers say...

GWP Protective got us out of a bind a couple of years ago when a previous supplier was letting us down and have been providing excellent quality products to us ever since. They are always more than happy to assist with design recommendations, their prices have always been very competitive and lead times are very short.
Harry Pankhurst | Systems Engineer | NSSLGlobal Ltd

Excellent service from quoting through to production. Happy to work to timelines outside of the norm and offer solutions we may have not considered.
Andy Ball | Managing Director | JE Group

GWP were very creative with regards to ideas for the foam inserts, whilst not dismissing our original thoughts. GWP were quick, responsive, patient, eager to help and incredibly tolerant of gaps in our knowledge. I would absolutely recommend GWP to other companies looking for a similar service.

FAQs
Is it possible to add foam inserts to Euro containers?
Euro Containers of all sizes and specifications, as well as other tote box types, can be enhanced with foam inserts. It is also possible to combine them with other types of foam dunnage (such as dividers) and even other types of inserts, such as Correx® or Bubble board fittings.
What are container foam inserts manufactured from?
Container foam inserts are manufactured from Plastazote® polyethylene foam. Also used in the fabrication of case inserts and high-end foam packaging, Plastazote provides excellent cushioning protection, prevents surface scuffs and scratches, and is lightweight and easy to handle.
What is the lifespan of foam container inserts?
Foam inserts for containers are very durable and long-lasting, making them ideal even in the harshest manufacturing environments. The expected lifespan of the foam inserts is similar to that of the outer handling containers themselves, typically well in excess of 500 uses/trips.
Is it possible to have drawer liners in different colours?
It is possible to manufacture custom drawer liners in different colours to either match your business’s corporate colours or differentiate between sets of tools or parts. Using different layers of foam can also help identify when a specific tool is missing, as the different-coloured foam recesses are easy to see at a glance.
How does adding foam to containers help improve productivity?
Using foam in your handling containers can improve productivity in several ways. For example, it makes packing and unpacking much quicker, as each part or component has a specific recess. It also prevents under- or overloading of the totes and can help identify at a glance if a specific item is running low and needs replenishing.
