Foam Dividers

Custom foam separators

If you need to safely transport, store or handle high volumes of parts or components, foam dividers are a great option for improving both protection and productivity.

Foam dividers are a type of foam dunnage. They are used within reusable packaging, such as tote boxes or Euro containers, to separate parts during handling and shipping. The foam separators protect their contents from damage by cushioning them and preventing collisions, whilst also making it easier for staff to pack and unpack them.

At GWP Protective, we can manufacture foam dividers to fit any part, product or containers your business manufactures or uses. We have over 30 years of experience with foam materials, an extensive design department, and a team of experts, allowing you to source your foam dividers and containers from a single source.

What our customers say...

FAQs

What material do foam dividers use?

Foam dividers are manufactured from Plastazote® polyethylene foam. Widely used for foam case inserts and other types of foam packaging, Plastazote is incredibly versatile, offers great protection and is easy to convert. These properties make your foam dividers cost-effective, even when tailored to your specific application.

Can foam dividers help reduce damage to parts?

Foam dividers can help to prevent damage caused during handling in your factory or whilst in transit. The foam offers cushioning protection (unlike plastic Correx® dividers), secures items so they do not become damaged by colliding with the container’s internal walls or each other, and is non-abrasive to prevent surface scuffs or marring.

Are foam dividers available in custom sizes and formats?

It is possible to tailor foam dividers to virtually any size, specification and layout. This flexibility means you can specify custom foam separators in generic sizes or dimensions perfectly tailored to fit a specific part or component.

Are foam dividers suitable for use in returnable supply chain packaging?

The durable, reusable nature of foam dividers makes them equally suited for lineside applications (i.e., moving parts around within your factory) and for use as part of a supply chain of returnable packaging between sites and/or customers.

How do foam dividers help productivity?

Foam dividers offer several ways to significantly improve your business’s productivity. For starters, it allows for much faster packing and unpacking of the outer totes and, as with foam container inserts and removable foam trays, using dividers can also make more efficient use of space within the outer tote. By maximising the number of parts staff can safely move at once, it reduces the number of trips required and, in turn, increases efficiency.
