Established Supplier of Carry Cases to UK Businesses
Medium duty Rose Plastic ProTec carry cases offering performance and cost effectiveness
The Rose Plastic “RoseCase” Protec range plays an important role in the plastic carry case market. Often, a lightweight plastic case will not provide the strength required, whereas the ultra-tough waterproof cases (such as Peli™, Storm Case™, Explorer etc) can often be over specified and too expensive for specific applications.
ProTec cases offer a perfect compromise – with surprisingly durable construction and good levels of protection, they are a great protective carry case option for virtually all budgets.
Please see below for the range of options in the ProTec case range.

High quality cases for medium duty use
The RoseCase ProTec range is a great option for medium duty protection of items such as tools, components, product samples, specialist equipment and much more.
This is achieved through a number of design features, some of which are unique to this case.
For example, the ProTec cases boast torsion stiffened shells. What this means in practice is the cases are surprisingly strong for their weight and will resist being twisted / distorted.
They also have particularly durable integrated hinges, alongside closures that can be opened a full 180 degrees (allowing easier usability and access to contents). Moulded patterns to allow for safe stacking, integrated feet to stand the case vertically, and an ergonomic handle all add up to provide a case which is strong and robust, yet light and easy to handle.
Custom ProTec cases
Besides these standard features, there are a number of ways that Protec cases can be enhanced still further.
For example, the polished and textured surface label area can open up a number of branding options. This can include everything from simple labels through to vinyl lettering, screen printing and even full digitally reproduced graphics.
The interior of the cases can be improved too, particularly with foam inserts. These can be tailored to your specific products to enhance not only protection but organisation and efficiency as well. Any foam inserts your business specifies can also be manufactured in a range of colours to match the outer case or your company branding.
Ultimately, what this means is that by choosing Rose Plastic ProTec cases for your business, you can benefit from a carry case that not only offers good levels of protection, but that can also have a strong aesthetic appearance too.
RoseCase ProTec FAQs
Frequently asked questions regarding these plastic carry cases
What sizes? What colours? Does it have this specific feature? Can I modify these cases? Is this the right option for my business? There can be many questions when considering whether to choose a ProTec case for your business.
The below section answers as many of these possible. For anything it doesn’t, please speak with a member of the GWP team on 01722 416 440 or email protective@gwp.co.uk
What size ProTec cases are available?
Whilst there are only 9 sizes available in the ProTec range, these cover a wide variety of commonly used dimensions. The smallest case is 175 x 105 x 35mm, whilst the largest has dimensions of 434 x 296 x 132 mm (both measurements refer to the internals of the case).
What colours can I select in the RoseCase range?
The RoseCase ProTec range is available in 2 standard colours – black and transparent / translucent. It is however possible to add different colour catches (e.g. red) and specify custom colours provided you hit the minimum order quantity threshold.
Can ProTec cases be printed?
ProTec cases provide a large, smooth area on the case surface that can be easily printed using digital or screen methods (which type depends on the complexity of the graphics to be reproduced). It also allows for easily adding labels as a low cost (and more flexible) alternative to printing.
Is it possible to add foam inserts to ProTec cases?
The performance and usability of ProTec cases is enhanced greatly when using bespoke foam inserts. These can be tailored not only to the case itself, but also to the contents you wish to store or transport. Your foam inserts can also be selected in different colours and have logos / text added through laser etching.
What are ProTec cases made from?
As with many plastic carry cases (and indeed sample cases) ProTec cases are manufactured from a durable yet lightweight Polypropylene material. This provides the perfect balance between being durable, hardwearing, easy to clean, light in weight and also cost effective.
Who manufactures ProTec cases (and where)?
ProTec cases are manufactured by Rose Plastic in Germany. Established for many years, Rose Plastic are experts in the field of plastic packaging and injection moulding, meaning their cases are widely used and of a particularly high quality.
What level of protection do ProTec cases provide?
Whilst not providing levels of protection as high as the dedicated waterproof cases – those such as Peli™, Explore, Nanuk etc. – ProTec cases offer greater performance that the lighter plastic sample cases. This makes a good choice for medium duty applications (service engineers, tool cases etc.).
