Rosecase Protec is a range of plastic carry cases. Featuring a torsion-stiffened body, they are stronger and more durable than most lightweight plastic alternatives. As a result, Protec cases provide medium-duty protection for items such as tools, components, and product samples.

Durable catches

The catches on the ProTec cases are easy to use yet durable and long-lasting. They are available in matching or contrasting colours, plus an “outline” design.

Handle

The handle is moulded into the main body of the Protec cases, making them considerably more robust and keeping costs down while remaining comfortable.

Mix and match lids/bases

The RoseCase lids and bases can be mixed and matched for enhanced visual impact, with a transparent lid or fully transparent/solid colour options.

Smooth branding area

ProTec cases feature a large, smooth area, making it considerably easier to add labels or even direct print for adding your company branding and logos.

Stacking pins

ProTec cases feature stacking pins, which help the cases remain stable when stacked on each other. This enhances protection of multiple cases during transit.

Moulded feet

The integral, moulded feet allow the case to stand upright when not in use, potentially saving space in storage. It also enables easier handling.

Torsion stiffened body

The ProTec cases boast torsion-stiffened shells, which means they are surprisingly strong for their weight and resistant to being twisted or distorted.

What size ProTec cases are available?

Although the ProTec range offers only nine sizes, these cover a wide variety of commonly used dimensions. The smallest case is 175 x 105 x 35mm, while the largest is 434 x 296 x 132 mm (both measurements refer to the internals of the case).

What colours can I select in the RoseCase range?

The RoseCase ProTec range is available in two standard colours: black and transparent/translucent. However, it is possible to add different-coloured catches (e.g., red) and specify custom colours provided you hit the minimum order quantity threshold.

Can ProTec cases be printed?

ProTec cases provide a large, smooth area on the case surface suitable for printing using digital or screen methods (the type depends on the complexity of the graphics to be reproduced). This also allows for quickly adding labels as a low-cost and more flexible alternative to printing.

Can foam inserts be added to ProTec cases?

The performance and usability of ProTec cases are significantly enhanced when using bespoke foam inserts. These can be tailored to the case itself and the contents you wish to store or transport. Foam inserts are available in different colours and can have logos and text added through laser etching.

What are ProTec cases made from?

As with many plastic carry cases (and indeed sample cases), ProTec cases use tough yet lightweight Polypropylene. This material perfectly balances durability, hardwearing, easy cleaning, lightweight, and cost-effectiveness.

Who manufactures ProTec cases (and where)?

Rose Plastic manufacture ProTec cases in Germany. Established for many years, Rose Plastic is an expert in plastic packaging and injection moulding, meaning its cases are widely used and of particularly high quality.

What level of protection do ProTec cases provide?

While not providing levels of protection as high as the dedicated waterproof cases – those such as Peli™, Explorer, Nanuk, etc. – ProTec cases offer greater performance than the lighter plastic sample cases. This makes them a good choice for medium-duty applications (service engineers, tool cases, etc.).
