As an independent supplier of plastic / carry cases, GWP can offer the options from the likes of Hofbauer, Rose Plastic, Maxado and others, in addition to the full WAG case range.

A durable plastic transport case with unique construction
The defining feature of the WAG Heavy cases is undoubtedly their construction – boasting a unique double walled design.
Dubbed the “sandwich” construction, the combination of injection moulding, blow moulding and deep drawing manufacturing techniques creates a case which maintains a large interior volume whilst also allowing for a much higher degree of strength than single wall alternatives.
What this effectively means is that WAG Heavy cases are a suitable option for mid to heavy duty applications – such as for transporting equipment, tools, specialist devices and diagnostics etc – where a Peli or Storm (or equivalent) case is over spec’d.
Additional Features of Heavy Cases
WAG Heavy cases offer much more than just their innovative construction, however.
For example, larger product cases are supplied with an optional trolley / wheels to make them easier to transport. An internal – and printable – divider can be added to help keep items in position within the case. Knee lever seals also make the carry cases easier to open, whilst a rubberized soft handle also makes transporting them effortless and comfortable.
Stacking features, optional locks, sturdy feet, varying colour combinations – the list of features goes on and on.
Of course, WAG Heavy equipment cases can be enhanced with custom foam inserts, manufactured by GWP. However, the double wall construction also offers the potential for creating custom inlay profiles directly into the internal surfaces of the case.
Similarly, it is possible to add print and labels to standard cases, but you can also add graphics via in mould labelling as well.
WAG Heavy Case FAQs
Frequently asked questions regarding the Heavy case range
If you have important tools or equipment to protect, selecting the right protective case for them can be critical to your business.
This is why the below section – covering a range of frequently asked questions about the WAG Heavy protective cases – has been created. But, if you can’t find the answer to your specific query, a member of the GWP team will be on hand to help.
What size Heavy Cases are available?
WAG Heavy cases are available in a range of 13 different sizes. The smallest of these 277 x 197 x 69 mm, with the largest case option being 612 x 432 x 220 mm. Please note the dimensions refer to the internal measurements.
What colour Heavy cases are there?
Heavy cases are available in 7 standard colours – Silver, Dark Grey, Blue, Red, Yellow, and Dark Blue. There are also a further 12 colours available subject to order volumes and setup costs.
What insert options are there for Heavy cases?
Heavy cases actually provide a wide range of insert options. Whilst this obviously includes case inserts and foam lining, the double wall construction means that pockets and profiles can be moulded directly into your transport cases’ interior surfaces.
How are Heavy cases manufactured?
Heavy cases use a unique combination of injection moulding, blow moulding and deep drawing techniques to create the innovative double wall design. Manufactured in Germany, you can also be certain of their high quality.
Are these a suitable alternative to Peli type cases?
Whilst WAG Heavy cases are great option for mid to high duty applications, they do not provide the same level of protective performance as dedicated waterproof equipment cases such as Peli™, Storm Case™, Explorer etc. However, they are ideal for applications which need more protection than provided by lightweight plastic cases, but where the tougher cases are over specified (and as a result more expensive).
Are Heavy cases IP rated?
Heavy cases do not come with an IP (ingress protection) rating. Whilst the product cases do offer good levels of protection against dust and water getting in, if this is a consideration for protecting your tools, equipment or products, a waterproof case would be the better option.
How can I tell if these will be suitable for my specific application?
