Tough, durable equipment cases for ultimate protection
The use of aluminium to manufacture cases has a number of benefits over traditional moulded plastic cases, and Zarges Euroboxes are no different. Aluminium cases are light yet sturdy, will absorb impact and shock keep items within safe and secure.
Surprisingly to many, Zarges cases are also non magnetic and will not suffer from corrosion (i.e. they don’t rust).
A small layer of oxidisation will occur on the surface if it comes into contact with moisture, but this then forms a protective barrier preventing any further corrosion or rust from occurring.
Other key advantages of Zarges aluminium Eurobox cases include being resistant to UV rays, being almost completely immune to fluctuations in temperature (between -80 degrees C and 150 degrees C – making them perfect for polar expeditions) and being fully recyclable too.
This makes them a great choice for professionals and businesses that either need to ship important parts, tools or kit, or who have service / field engineers using equipment on site.
If additional levels of protection are required, then it is also possible to source custom engineered case inserts from GWP Protective at the same time as purchasing your cases. The benefit of this is that the Plastazote® polyethylene foam inserts are a perfect fit for your chosen case, as well as tailored to your individual items.

Whilst there are only 11 sizes in the Zarges Eurobox range, the Zarges K470 cases offer another 25 options. If none of these are exactly right for your application, then it is possible to specify custom built flight cases to practically any dimensions required.
Will aluminium cases rust?
To many peoples’ surprise, aluminium will not rust. When exposed to moisture, a very thin layer of oxidisation will occur, which will then prevent any corrosion (or rust) from forming. As a result of this, Zarges Euroboxes and similar aluminium cases will not rust.
Can I add wheels to my Eurobox?
It is possible to add wheels, clip on castors and even separate trolleys to your Zarges Eurobox cases. This is in addition to the other customisation options, such as painted finishes and custom foam inserts.
Are different colour Zarges cases available?
Standard Zarges Euroboxes are supplied in a aluminium / silver finish. However, it is possible to specify specific colours, which are applied to the case using a hard-wearing paint. Please note that minimum order quantities (MOQs) will apply.
Can Euroboxes be customised?
Yes, Zarges Euroboxes can be customised in a number of ways. This includes a wide range of manufacturer options (wheels, handles etc.), but also third party modifications. The most popular of these is the use of Plastazote® foam inserts, used to organise and protect the content of the case.
Can I order a single Zarges case?
It is possible to purchase a single Zarges case. However, GWP Protective specialise in supplying either customised or mid – to high volume cases to business users. If you are looking for an unmodified, one of case, the most cost effective route would be to find an online retailer. If you are in doubt however please ask – we will be happy to advise as appropriate.
What other aluminium cases are there?
Zarges are the market leaders in supplying aluminium cases, so these are the only options GWP would recommend. However, there are numerous ranges within the Zarges collection, including K470 containers, Lithium Battery Boxes and Kit Skips. GWP can also manufacture custom flight cases for specific applications too.
