Euro size aluminium containers
The Zarges Eurobox range is ideal if you need a durable yet lightweight protective case.
Zarges Euroboxes are aluminium cases used for storing and transporting tools and equipment. They are available in 11 sizes that match the euro footprint of commonly used pallets and racking (400 x 600 mm and 800 x 1200 mm). Zarges Euroboxes are lightweight, durable, easy to clean, and stackable.
At GWP Protective, we are official distributors of Zarges aluminium cases in the UK. In addition to the wide range of models, sizes, and options, we can enhance your chosen case with foam inserts, exterior branding, and more. Plus, with over 30 years of experience, our team of case experts is happy to advise on the best case option for your specific application.
Zarges Eurobox features
Besides aluminium’s inherent light weight and durability, Zarges Eurobox cases also boast a wealth of useful features.
Catch/fastener
The “comfort fastener” catches have a snap-shut design making it strong, easy to use and has a long usable lifespan.
Hinges
The hinges are manufactured from stainless steel, making them tough, long-lasting, and corrosion-resistant.
Pad lockable
The riveted section and small holes in the catches allow you to secure the case with a padlock (purchased separately).
Foam lid seal
The lid’s polyurethane foam seal, which is IP 54 rated, helps prevent the ingress of dust, particles, and water.
Holding straps
The cases feature two lid-holding straps that prevent the lid from opening too wide and overbalancing.
Handles
The spring back handles feature an ergonomic design, allowing easy and comfortable handling of the cases.
Stacking corners
The blue, impact-resistant plastic stacking corners allow for safe stacking of the cases during storage or transit.
Corner beading
The case corners feature durable beading that contributes to increased strength and dimensional stability.
Welding
The joints feature high-quality welding, whilst the lid, edge and base profiles use fully welded aluminium sections.
Sizes
The Eurobox range has been designed to work with most standard pallet dimensions (according to DIN 12 141).

Where are Zarges Eurobox manufactured?
Zarges cases are manufactured in Germany, ensuring a consistent, high quality to all their products. The company headquarters address is Zargesstraße 7 82362 Weilheim, Germany.
Can I get a custom-size aluminium case?
While the Zarges Eurobox range is available in only 12 sizes, the Zarges K470 range offers another 25 options. If none are suitable for your application, you can specify custom-built flight cases to practically any required dimensions.
Do aluminium cases rust?
To many people’s surprise, aluminium does not rust. When exposed to moisture, a very thin layer of oxidisation occurs, preventing corrosion (or rust) from forming. As a result, Zarges Euroboxes and similar aluminium cases do not rust.
Do Zarges Eurobox cases have wheels?
You can add wheels, clip-on castors, and even separate trolleys to your Zarges Eurobox cases. Their sizes also make Euroboxes ideal for use with standard-size pallets.
What colour are Zarges Eurobox available in?
Standard Zarges Euroboxes have an aluminium/silver finish. However, using a hard-wearing paint, specific colours can be selected. Please note that minimum order quantities (MOQs) apply.
Can I buy a single aluminium case?
It is possible to purchase a single Zarges case. However, GWP Protective specialises in supplying either customised or mid– to high–volume cases to business users. If you are looking for an unmodified case, the most cost-effective route would be to find an online retailer. If you are in doubt, however, please ask—we will be happy to advise as appropriate.
What are Zarges cases typically used for?
Zarges cases are used in a number of applications and industries. Their lightweight nature means they are used extensively for shipping and air freight, while their ease of cleaning means they are used in medical markets, too. They are also widely used for transporting sports kits/equipment and for service or field engineers.
Zarges Eurobox alternatives
If none of the Zarges Eurobox cases suits your requirements, we can offer you a wide range of alternative options.
