The Zarges Box range of cases features various useful features.

Aluminium material

The aluminium material used on Zarges cases does not rust, whilst the smooth surfaces are also easy to clean.

Foam seal

The lid’s all-around foam seal provides a tight seal and protects the contents from water splashes and dust ingress.

Handles

Larger cases feature a heavy-duty sprung handle for comfort and ease of handling, while smaller cases feature briefcase handles on the front side.

Snap fasteners

The Zarges Box snap fasteners are quick and easy to use while providing a secure closure to the case.

Hinges

Zarges manufactures the hinges from stainless steel, ensuring they do not rust (and are both robust and long-lasting).

Plug locks

The plug locks, integrated into the snap fasteners, make securing the contents of your case easier than using separate padlocks.

Corner beads

The corner beads add strength and rigidity to the edge lid and base profile frames, which themselves use fully welded aluminium sections.

Zarges Box sizes

The Zarges Box range is available in 5 sizes. The smallest case is 500 x 340 x 200 mm, while the largest option is 900 x 500 x 370 mm. Zarges boxes weigh from 3.1 kg to 6.9 kg. All sizes are available in silver aluminium finish with black plastic corner reinforcements.

What size Zarges boxes are available?

The Zarges Box range is available in 5 sizes. Although this is a fairly small number (certainly when compared with the Zarges K470), there is enough choice to make them suitable for most applications. The smallest case is 450 x 290 x 180mm, with the largest being 850 x 450 x 350mm.

Can Zarges Box be stacked?

Whilst it is possible to stack the Zarges Box range of containers, one way to achieve the low price points was to remove the stacking corner feature present on Euroboxes and K470 containers. As such, both of these ranges would be more suitable if stacking is required (i.e., transit/storage requirements).

Are Zarges Boxes made using just aluminium?

The cases’ main body and lid are made of aluminium, the hinges are made of stainless steel, and the handles and some fittings are made of durable plastic. A foam seal around the lid prevents the ingress of water and dust.

Do Zarges Box rust?

Contrary to popular belief, aluminium does not rust. When exposed to water or atmospheric elements, a thin layer of oxidisation occurs, protecting the remaining material underneath. In short, this is not a problem in these cases.

Can foam inserts be added to a Zarges Box?

You can enhance any Zarges Box you purchase from GWP with foam inserts. If your budget does not stretch to fully engineered foam, however, you can also specify simple foam lining or even standard pick-and-pluck foam options.
