Cost Effective Aluminium Case Suppliers
Aluminium boxes providing economical protection for various applications
The Zarges Box range are (typically) the lowest cost aluminium cases from the renowned manufacturer. Despite their competitive price points however, these aluminium boxes / containers still provide a wide range of useful features and reliable performance and protection.
Available in 5 different sizes, the Zarges Box range can be easily enhanced using foams such as Plastazote (including simple lining, shadow-boards for tools, insert trays and even fully bespoke inserts). External print and branding can also be added if required.

Wide range of features at competitive price points
The Zarges Box range is the most cost effective offered by the German manufacturer.
Although this has resulted in some elements present on other cases being removed – most notably the stacking corners present on the K470 and Eurobox, it still packs a huge range of features and benefits.
Zarges Boxes boast stainless steel hinges and all-round foam seal (preventing dust and water splashes entering the case) as well as having edge, lid and base profile frames all manufactured using fully welded sections. This provides high stability and durability.
The lids, although not featuring the aforementioned stacking corners, are deep drawn and possess a useful self-holding feature. This allows easy access to the cases’ contents.
Beyond this there are heavy duty sprung drop handles to each side for ease of handling, with these handles being positioned on the front of the smallest 2 cases (making them a good alternative to the K410 and K411 aluminium carry cases).
The snap fasteners with plug locks for added security complete the long list of features.
Customised aluminium boxes
All of the above listed features are of course in addition to the benefits that are provided simply by using aluminium in the construction.
Zarges Boxes will not rust for example, and also have an excellent strength to weight ratio (making them easy to handle whilst maintaining a high degree of strength). The smooth surfaces also make them easy to clean.
They also offer excellent internal volume when compared with some plastic case alternatives, due to the material thickness that can be achieved, and there being no need for internal bracing, ribbing or mouldings.
However, any of the range of aluminium cases available from GWP can be enhanced still further in a number of ways.
The smooth surfaces – as well as making cleaning and reuse of the cases much easier – also provides a great surface to add branding to. The most cost-effective way of doing this is through vinyl lettering / graphics, although various print methods can be used too.
Of course, these aluminium boxes can also be enhanced with custom foam inserts.
Either fixed into the case or removable as foam trays (ideal for maximising space efficiency in larger cases), the foam can provide exact levels of protection for specific tools or equipment as required.
Zarges Box FAQs
Frequently asked questions regarding these Zarges aluminium cases
The Zarges Box range is one of the lesser known of the aluminium case options offered (with Eurobox and K470 being undoubtedly the most popular). As such, it is common for those considering these cases to have a number of questions.
The most common of these are listed below but, for anything else, please get in touch on 01722 416 440 (or email protective@gwp.co.uk).
What size Zarges Boxes are available?
The Zarges Box range is available in 5 sizes. Whilst a fairly small number (certainly when compared with the Zarges K470) there is enough choice to make them suitable for most applications. The smallest case is 450 x 290 x 180mm, with the largest being 850 x 450 x 350mm.
Can these boxes be stacked?
Whilst it is possible to stack the Zarges Box range of containers, one of the ways in which the low price points have been achieved was to remove the stacking corner feature present on Euroboxes and K470 containers. As such, both of these ranges would be more suitable if there is a requirement for stacking them (i.e. transit / storage requirements).
Are these made of just aluminium?
Whilst the main body and lid of the cases are manufactured using aluminium, the hinges are produced from stainless steel, and the handles and some fittings are produced from a durable plastic. There is also a foam seal around the lid to prevent the ingress of water and dust.
Will Zarges Boxes rust?
Contrary to popular belief, aluminium does not rust. It does however corrode when exposed to water / atmospheric elements, but a thin layer of oxidisation will occur which then protects the remaining material underneath. In short, this is not a problem for these cases.
Can I add foam inserts to my Zarges Box?
Any Zarges Box you purchase from GWP can be enhanced with foam inserts. If your budget will not stretch as far as fully engineered foam however, you can also specify simple foam lining or even standard pick and pluck foam options.
