Do kit skips rust if used in wet weather?

Kit skips are resistant to water, rain, and dust and protect the items within from impact and mishandling. Besides this, the containers do not rust. Can I lock my travel skips?

Besides protecting your kit from the elements, you can also padlock your kit skips to prevent theft (a significant concern for professional sports kit costing many thousands of pounds). Please note that padlocks are sold separately and not included as standard.
