Timber frame cardboard boxes
Timber corrugated wraps are ideal for products or equipment that are unusually large, heavy, or long, or that you cannot ship in standard pallet boxes.
A timber frame with corrugated cardboard wrapped around the exterior results in a rigid, strong and durable pack that can accommodate heavy items and protect throughout the supply chain. Including custom-size pallets allows for easy movement, while foam end caps, can provide cushioning protection.
At GWP, our experienced packaging designers create your timber frame cardboard boxes (and other industrial packaging) using cutting-edge software before manufacturing them in-house. This approach ensures that your packaging is fit for purpose and optimised to the specific product or equipment you are shipping.

What our customers say...

Price is of course a key point, but other companies may have good prices but not quality products. GWP offers both quality products but at a good price.
Robbie Simmonds | Stores Manager | Batten and Allan

There is a “family” feel when dealing with GWP and you can really see how much they value their customers. I would thoroughly recommend GWP due to the flexibility of helping their customers create a solution and service that fits the needs of the business.
Ben Carter | Operations Manager | Hardware Services

GWP are a responsive and pro-active company who manufacture all their own packaging products. They can also adapt each delivery exactly to match what we need, and when we need it. Their design team and prototyping ability are excellent and their innovative approach to design was a significant factor in us working with them. GWP have shown us that we can rely on them and as a result we have been able to significantly reduce the amount of packaging stock we have to hold

FAQs
What are timber corrugated wraps?
A timber frame wrap is effectively a wooden frame with corrugated cardboard “wrapped” around it. Usually combined with a custom-sized pallet, timber frame wraps are designed to protect and transport larger products, components, or equipment.
Are timber corrugated wraps available in standard sizes?
Timber frame wraps are produced to the exact size required by your specific items. A custom size offers improved protection (as there is minimal movement of the contents within the pack) and optimises your transport efficiency.
Are timber frame wraps suitable for export?
Timber frame wraps are an excellent option for exporting products. All timber used to construct your packs is heat-treated to ISPM 15 standards, ensuring compliance with all international transit regulations.
Are timber corrugated wraps environmentally friendly?
Timber corrugated wraps are fully recyclable at designated recycling facilities, while the corrugated cardboard and timber used in their manufacture are biodegradable. All materials used are typically from FSC-certified sources.
Are timber corrugated wraps suitable for multiple uses?
Whilst predominantly used for heavy-duty single-trip applications, the strength and durability of timber corrugated wraps allow you to reuse them over multiple journeys. Doing this can reduce your costs and environmental impact.
