Boxes with peel and seal strip
Self-seal boxes featuring a peel-and-seal strip can significantly improve your packing times. Simply pack your items, remove the adhesive tape backing, and seal. A perforated “tear-open” strip means your customers also benefit from easy opening.
At GWP, our modern production equipment allows us to quickly and cost-effectively manufacture self-seal boxes for eCommerce and postal applications. We can also add your branding through various print options and tailor the box size and strength to your products.
All boxes with peel-and-seal strips are made using FSC-certified materials and are easy for your customers to recycle.

GWP have been excellent in supporting us since our launch, and we would like to say a huge thank you to them and the handful of partners that have helped us over the past 18 months. We are both incredibly grateful and excited that more people will be able to discover what chocolate should really taste like!

FAQs
What are self-seal boxes?
Self-seal boxes feature ready-applied tape that packing staff can use to seal boxes quickly. Packers simply assemble the box, pack the items to be shipped, remove the adhesive backing, and seal.
How do self-seal boxes speed up packing times?
Self-seal packaging can significantly reduce packing times. This is mainly achieved by eliminating the separate taping process and the need to replenish rolls of tape in dispensers. Eliminating tape also helps reduce costs.
What sizes of self-seal boxes are available?
Self-sealing boxes can be manufactured in the specific size you require. This approach reduces material use and the space required in transit. Both these factors have a positive impact on your costs while also making your packaging more sustainable.
Are self-seal boxes easy for customers to open?
In addition to being quick to pack, self-sealed boxes are also easy for your customer to open. They feature an integral, perforated strip that customers tear off to open the pack easily. Boxes can also feature a second adhesive strip to allow customers to reseal the box in the event of needing to return an item.
Are self-seal boxes recyclable?
Self-seal boxes are easy to recycle, being made from corrugated cardboard. This material is widely accepted in UK kerbside bins, and the recycling process removes any residual adhesive.
