Steve spent much of his formative years in art school, gaining a wide range of qualifications relevant to his role today. Achievements include an HND and a degree in Packaging Design, having completed the renowned Swindon College courses. He also has a City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ in CAD design, and the British Display Society (BDS) qualification, which touches on graphic design, visual merchandising and more.
Steve’s early career saw him work for carton box manufacturer Taylowe Packaging in Maidenhead, before moving to GWP Packaging in 2007. After spending nine years working on corrugated packaging designs, Steve had a brief spell with Superior (a manufacturer of POS displays) before returning to become the Senior Designer for the GWP Correx division.
In his current role, Steve designs a wide range of returnable packaging solutions and warehouse storage/picking bins. This, combined with Steve’s broad knowledge, extensive experience, and understanding across a range of packaging materials and applications, makes him a vital member of the design team.
In his spare time, Steve enjoys playing guitar, listening to extreme heavy metal, taking on DIY projects and spending time with his family.
