If you operate a testing or research lab, or manufacture medical or pharmaceutical products, cleanroom boxes can be essential.

Correx® cleanroom boxes are used for transporting items within cleanrooms or between controlled environments in a contamination-free manner. Made from fibre-free, waterproof, chemical-resistant Correx® material, cleanroom boxes are durable, reusable, and easy to clean and sterilise (autoclave, gamma, EtO). As such, they are perfect for transporting medical samples and pharmaceutical products.

At GWP Correx, we have manufactured Correx® cleanroom packaging and containers for over 20 years. Our in-house designers and manufacturing allow us to offer cleanroom boxes that are the exact size, style, strength and colour you need.

FAQs

What are Correx® cleanroom boxes used for?

The inherent benefits of Correx® material and the packaging it creates make it ideally suited for transporting and protecting medical samples and pharmaceutical products. Correx® boxes are an excellent solution for sterile zones as well. They can even assist with avoiding requirements for re-packing and can help with traceability as well.

Why is Correx® suitable for manufacturing clean room boxes?

Correx® boxes are particularly suited for use in clean room applications. This suitability is because they do not “shed” fibres that could contaminate samples. It is also possible to clean and sterilise them, including EtO, gamma, and autoclave methods. In addition, Correx® cleanroom storage containers are strong and durable, reusable, water- and most chemical-resistant, and provide excellent longevity.

Are Correx® cleanroom boxes suitable for transporting medical samples?

Many organisations frequently use Correx® boxes for the transportation of medical samples. They are also commonly used for blood, tissue samples, organs, and clinical waste. Including divider sets also makes these boxes suitable for storing and handling glass vials (similar to vial trays).

Are Correx® boxes suitable for transporting live animals?

Veterinary surgeries, wildlife charities and other organisations can use Correx® boxes for transporting live animals. Particularly popular for this type of application are Correx® gable boxes, which include an integral handle.

What colours are clean room boxes available in?

Correx® boxes can be specified in various colours, helping to identify specific items at a glance. You can also choose to enhance any Correx® cleanroom box with print. Whilst this can include logos and branding, your cleanroom containers can also carry important handling or storage info, safety warnings, and other essential details.
