ESD storage boxes
If you need to efficiently store or handle larger static-sensitive components or devices at your business, Corstat® stacking totes are a great option.
Corstat® stacking totes are robust and durable ESD (electrostatic discharge) storage boxes. Manufactured from Corstat®-coated cardboard, they create a Faraday cage effect to prevent static from damaging their contents. Their stacking locations help to maximise storage space, whilst the handholes allow safe and easy handling. They are also compatible with Corstat® dividers and ESD layer pads.
At GWP Conductive, we are the UK market leaders in anti-static packaging. In addition to the Corstat® ESD tote boxes, we can supply you with a wide range of stock products through our Europe-wide distributor network. So if you need effective, reliable protection from ESD, we can help.

FAQs
Are Corstat® stacking totes expensive?
Corstat® stacking totes are very competitively priced, with the low cost of the Corstat® material and the range of standard sizes keeping pricing affordable without compromising performance. Corstat® stacking totes can also directly reduce your costs by minimising damage and improving efficiency.
Are these ESD storage boxes suitable for shipping?
Corstat® ESD storage boxes are also suitable for shipping products safely. Sometimes referred to as computer shipping boxes due to their popularity for this application, they protect against physical damage (particularly when specified with foam inserts) and against static charges, which can shorten the lifespan of various electronic components, including CPUs and processors.
Are Corstat® tote boxes suitable for smaller items?
Whilst Corstat® stacking totes are usually ideal for larger items, you can also use the compatible Corstat® dividers and layer pads to ship multiple items within a single box. For shipping or storing smaller single devices, you may find Corstat® transit packs more suitable. Alternatively, get in touch for a quote on ESD shipping boxes tailored to your exact requirements.
Are Corstat® stacking totes reusable?
Corstat® is surprisingly durable. Whilst the lifespan is obviously shorter than plastic equivalents such as SSI Schaefer EF Series containers, you can typically reuse them numerous times. While this reusability further reduces their overall or “lifetime” costs, their low initial price also means Corstat® is the most suitable choice if you are looking for single-trip packaging.
Are Corstat® totes available in bespoke sizes?
It is possible to source custom-sized totes from GWP Conductive, although please note they are subject to minimum order volumes and tooling charges. However, bespoke sizes are frequently more cost-effective in the long run. Whilst the design and tooling affect upfront costs, if you are shipping or storing lots of assembled totes, you can achieve significant cost savings by minimising wasted space within the container.
