ESD cardboard slip sheets
If you need to improve the efficiency of your conductive tote boxes, Corstat® layer pads can help.
Corstat® layer pads are essentially sheets of coated cardboard. Their sizes allow them to fit in standard totes, which, when combined with ESD dividers, enable you to stack multiple layers of products or components in a single container. Doing so can significantly improve handling efficiency. The Corstat® coating also channels any ESD (electrostatic discharge) away from the items in close proximity.
At GWP Conductive, we can supply your business with standard-sized or bespoke ESD cardboard slip sheets to suit your application. We also allow you to source all of your anti-static packaging – from totes, boxes, bins and more – with ease, with our products being available through a UK-wide network of distributors.

FAQs
What are Corstat® layer pads used for?
Corstat® layer pads typically allow you to store multiple levels of products in a single outer container, particularly when combined with internal divider sets or fittings. This allows improved part density, which in turn leads to greater handling efficiency. Larger anti-static pads can also be utilised as “slip sheets” for products stacked on pallets, providing improved stacking stability.
Are Corstat® layer pads water and/or moisture-resistant?
Whilst Corstat® layer pads are ideal for most applications, you can also specify them in Corriplast material (effectively a conductive Correx®). These plastic layer pads for pallets provide improved strength, resistance to moisture and liquids, and are easy to clean, allowing for increased reusability.
Will Corstat® layer pads fit my existing tote boxes?
Available in two stock sizes to fit the Corstat® stackable totes, these layer pads are also compatible with a range of other tote containers, including those manufactured from Corriplast and SSI Schaefer. If you require a special size, please contact us at GWP Conductive, as we can manufacture to your exact specifications.
What are the benefits of Corstat®?
Utilising Corstat® ESD cardboard sheets provides several benefits for your business. Advantages include low weight, low cost (particularly for stock-size options), good durability and lifespan, and, of course, high ESD protection.
Do I need ESD layer pads?
If you are handling or transporting items that are unaffected by static, regular layer pads are suitable. You can source non-conductive layer pads in a range of materials, including corrugated cardboard, Correx® and Bubble board, from the other divisions of the GWP Group.
