ESD component box
If you need physical and ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection for your static-sensitive parts and devices, Corstat® component boxes are the industry-recognised choice.
Corstat® component boxes use structural design and carbon coating to create a Faraday cage effect. These properties channel static around the outside of the pack, protecting the contents. Optional foam inserts provide additional ESD and physical protection. These ESD component boxes are available in 8 sizes from stock.
GWP Conductive has been supplying electronics manufacturers with market-leading anti-static packaging for more than 35 years. We are the sole UK manufacturer of Corstat® boxes and packaging – widely regarded as the industry standard – with a vast range of stock products available in as little as 48 hours.

FAQs
What size component boxes are available?
There are eight different sizes in the Corstat® component boxes range. The smallest of these is 40 x 40 x 15 mm, whilst the largest is 178 x 89 x 25 mm. This range typically covers most requirements for specialist electronic componentry, but other anti-static packaging options are available if these stock sizes do not meet your requirements.
How do ESD component boxes protect against static?
Corstat® is the most widely used form of conductive packaging currently available. The special coating and buried shielding layer create a Faraday cage effect, which channels any static charges around the outside of the box to protect the contents within.
Are Corstat® component boxes better with foam inserts?
Adding foam to your Corstat® component boxes offers several benefits. Firstly, using anti-static or conductive foam can provide additional protection for your parts and/or components against static damage. Secondly, the foam also provides cushioning protection, preventing potential damage from mishandling.
Can company logos be printed on these boxes?
If you need a large volume of component boxes, you can add your own branding to the exterior surfaces. This service, however, is subject to minimum order quantities and incurs additional charges (e.g., for printing plates). It does, however, provide an excellent opportunity to promote your business.
Are there any bigger packs for larger components?
If you have a component that is too large for these Corstat® boxes, several options are available. These include the larger transit pack range, designed specifically for larger items. Alternatively, you can specify bespoke component boxes, which a team of designers can create for you. As with bespoke printing, custom sizes are subject to a minimum order quantity.
