If you ship your products, parts or equipment internationally, then it is crucial that your export packaging is correctly specified.

At GWP, we have over 30 years of experience designing and manufacturing successful export packaging for industry-specific requirements. Our designers analyse your products before engineering a suitable solution utilising a broad range of materials and techniques. As such, your packaging is genuinely sustainable and cost-effective.

What our customers say...

GWPs’ way of working, thought processes, and products align perfectly with what I am trying to achieve. I’m delighted that we have the opportunity to inspire future generations of world changers through a mutual love of cardboard!
Ben Edmonds | Founder | Innovation Ben

The pack has worked remarkably well. There was some concern that using corrugated alone would protect such a high-value and fragile item, but to date, we have had zero returns due to transit damage. GWP has done a great job.
Julie Aparicio | Graphics and Service Designer | Haberdashery

We had issues with a previous supplier regarding delivery and quality and so looked to GWP to provide better. They supply us with bespoke corrugated packaging for vending and dispensing equipment, protecting high value products. GWP is without a doubt one of our best suppliers.

FAQs
What does FSC stand for?
FSC is an acronym for Forest Stewardship Council®. It is a foundation started in 1993 in Brazil to counter deforestation in the Amazonian rainforest. Since then, it has become the worldwide standard for sustainable forestry, with more than 185 million hectares of forests now being FSC certified.
What is FSC packaging?
FSC-certified packaging typically consists of corrugated and other paper-based boxes, inserts, and POS that use material (e.g., wood) that is traceable back to well managed FSC-certified forests and other controlled sources. Often combined with recycled content, FSC packaging is sustainable and less environmentally harmful.
Can I print FSC logos on the packaging my business uses?
If you are using FSC-certified packaging, you can include printed logos and trademarks on your boxes. However, this is subject to FSC packaging logo guidelines and approvals.
What does the FSC do?
Besides ensuring sustainable forest management through regulations and guidelines and verifying compliance with these practices, the FSC also works to protect wildlife and Indigenous peoples who call the world’s forests their home.
What is a chain of custody?
The “chain of custody” (the certification that GWP holds) allows traceability of any material claimed to be FSC certified back to the forest it originated from. Each link – between forest, processors, manufacturers and even retail outlets – has its own certification and is independently verified annually.

Why work with GWP Packaging?
GWP became FSC certified in 2020. However, working with us has many other environmental and commercial benefits for your business.
We can help you implement strategies to reduce material use, minimise volume in transit (and, therefore, emissions), and aid recyclability for your end users by eliminating films and plastics.
Our award-winning design team can also give you a holistic view of your packaging. For example, using a specific material – although not perceived as sustainable – could minimise environmental impact through reduced damage or reusability.
If you can see the benefits to your business of switching to FSC packaging or taking a broader view of your packaging’s sustainability, please do not hesitate to contact us.
