Correx® folding pallet boxes
If your supply chain requires frequent storage and movement of large loads or bulky items, plastic pallet boxes are a long-lasting, cost-effective solution.
Plastic pallet boxes are large, durable industrial containers. While often manufactured using high-density polyethylene (HDPE), Correx® pallet boxes offer several advantages. These include bespoke sizing to maximise space efficiency, being collapsible to minimise storage, and being lightweight whilst remaining durable. Correx® plastic pallet boxes also offer excellent longevity compared to wooden crates or cardboard pallet boxes.
At GWP, we have been manufacturing various pallet boxes for over 30 years, meaning our team of experts can provide impartial advice on the best option for your business. We’ll also design and manufacture your preferred solution in-house.
Please note: Correx® is a registered and/or unregistered trademark of Corplex Plastics UK Ltd, its parent, subsidiaries and/or affiliates.

FAQs
Why should my business use Correx® pallet boxes instead of moulded plastic options?
Correx® provides several advantages over moulded plastic pallet boxes. In particular, their size flexibility means you can specify a pallet box that is the optimum size for your specific product or application. Using Correx® also allows for several other options, including attached or fixed lids, removable or fixed inserts, and printing on external surfaces.
Can plastic pallet boxes be collapsed for storage and return journeys?
A key benefit of Correx® pallet boxes compared with wooden crates and even some plastic options is that they are easy to collapse when not in use. Using collapsible pallet boxes can significantly reduce storage requirements, including on return journeys when using a closed-loop returnable packaging setup.
Are Correx® pallet boxes better than cardboard pallet boxes?
Cardboard pallet boxes are an excellent option for single-trip applications, where they cannot be easily returned and are disposed of by the recipient. In contrast, Correx® pallet boxes last for hundreds of trips, making them more cost-effective in the long run and less impactful on the environment.
Can plastic pallet boxes have branding printed on them?
You can choose to add print to your pallet boxes, including logos, to enhance brand awareness as your product moves through your supply chain (effectively free advertising). You can also include safety info, handling instructions, batch numbers and other important information as required.
Are plastic pallet boxes recyclable?
The Correx® material used for creating foldable plastic pallet boxes is a form of polypropylene. This material is fully recyclable at the end of its useful life, although specialist facilities are required.
