If you need to store, transport or handle heavy or large numbers of ESD (electrostatic discharge) components or products, the SSI Schaefer EF Series offers the most robust option.
The SSI Schaefer EF Series (Euro Fix) is a range of ESD Euro containers. Their conductive Polypropylene material protects contents from static, whilst also being suitable for loads up to 20kg. The 17 sizes work seamlessly with the majority of industry-standard racking, conveyors, pallets, and transport. Stacking corners, integral handles, and optional lids further improve usability, too.

What does EF stand for?
The EF in the SSI EF Series containers stands for “Euro Fix”. What this essentially means is that they are the correct size to work with most standard equipment, racking, pallets, etc., used in warehouses and production facilities throughout Europe.
What size are EF series conductive euro containers available in?
There are 17 sizes within the EF series range of tote containers. However, it is possible to subdivide these with inserts, including the EF Series insert trays. The sizes are compatible with the vast majority of standard conveyors, racking, warehouse equipment and transport providers.
Are moulded plastic ESD containers more expensive than corrugated plastic/cardboard?
Whilst the initial investment required to purchase moulded ESD plastic containers is typically higher than for corrugated cardboard or Correx® equivalents, the material’s strength and durability offer improved longevity. As a result, the longer-term or overall “lifetime” costs can often be lower, due to their increased lifespan and reusability.
Are EF Series containers stackable?
EF Series containers have a built-in stacking feature. Besides minimising the risk of poor or unsafe stacking of containers, this feature also enables optimal use of space in your plant or factory. The integrated handle allows your production or warehouse teams to quickly and easily lift and move the containers.
