Description
Detailed Info on cardboard dividers for boxes
Your business can source cardboard box dividers, perfectly tailored to your exact needs, from GWP Packaging.
Available in a range of materials, plus with the height / cell size you choose, you can also choose from fixed dividers (perfect for shipping lots of the same item) or adjustable dividers (that you can modify to accommodate different or combination of products).
This flexibility is combined with the inherent benefits of corrugated divider sets.
As with many other forms of packaging insert, this includes preventing movement of products during shipping, helping to minimise transit damage. They also allow for much greater efficiency of your outer corrugated packaging, allowing your packing team to maximise the available space within your boxes. And they add additional strength and rigidity to the outer packaging too.
These points in particular – reducing damage and greater efficiency – can result in your business seeing notable cost reductions.
Custom cardboard box dividers
The custom box dividers you source from GWP can be enhanced in a number of ways too. This can include anti scuff finish to prevent damage to highly polished or painted surfaces, or even anti static material to protect electronic items.
You can also use these divider sets in conjunction with layer pads to stack layers of products safely on top of each other.
In fact, by sourcing outer packaging, dividers and layer pads (or other inserts) together, you can be certain of the highest levels of compatibility and protective performance.

What are box dividers used for?
Box dividers are used for packing multiple products within a single outer carton / box. The benefits of this is not only maximising the available space within the packaging, but also making life easier for the person packing your shipments too. Besides this they can also help prevent damage in transit.
What is the difference between fixed and adjustable dividers?
Fixed dividers are those which are manufactured to always provide a specific cell size (i.e. “pocket”). These are generally stronger, and ideal for shipping lots of the exact same item. Adjustable dividers however can be altered to enable varying cell sizes. This makes them perfect for applications where different sizes 0r combinations or products need to be shipped together.
Can multiple levels of dividers be used?
Yes, multiple levels of box dividers can be used in conjunction with each other. However, it is important to use layer pads between each layer, as these stabilise the load, evenly distribute the weight of the higher products, and generally improves the protection provided.
Will cardboard dividers prevent transit damage?
Yes, cardboard dividers can help to provide transit damage. Whilst they do not provide much in the way of cushioning protections (unless specialist material such as Bubble board is used), they can help protect the products within by preventing movement during transit. This often results in damage with multiple products damaging each other if they collide.
Are box dividers easy to assemble?
Box dividers are generally easy to assemble, although this will obviously have an impact on your overall packing times. Cleverly designed inserts can be created that simply pull out to form the cells, or, if it makes sense for your operations, the dividers can be supplied pre-assembled.
