Folding plastic containers
Space-saving handling containers for storage and transit
One of the often-cited complaints about Euro containers and the majority of Correx® totes is that they take up considerable space when empty. This issue relates to when in storage or on the return journey as part of your supply chain.
However, collapsible tote boxes manufactured from corrugated plastic can solve this issue. Being easy to assemble and collapse when not in use, folding plastic containers can significantly improve the efficiency of your warehouse and transport. Read more

Description
More information on collapsible totes
Using collapsible tote boxes is an excellent option if you are struggling with either storage space within your factory or warehouse or if you are looking to improve the efficiency of your distribution (i.e. return transit).
As you can fold these tote boxes flat when not in use, they take up considerably less space in your warehouse (with this space then available for other inventory). It also means staff can fold totes flat when empty on assembly lines.
Besides this, if your Correx® totes are part of a returnable supply chain, their ability to fold flat means your business can use the return journey for other parts and products. In effect, you are not paying to ship fresh air within the totes when fully assembled – as with fixed options such as Euro containers or even lightweight plastic totes).
Further benefits of Correx®
However, there are several other benefits to using Correx® for your material handling applications.
For example, Correx® handling and storage totes are often lower in cost than moulded plastic Euro boxes (even before factoring in the savings realised through storage and transport efficiencies).
As well as this, Correx® can provide a comparable level of performance as rigid containers, allowing for high levels of protection during handling.
This benefit can improve further with a range of removable inserts and dividers, including Correx® division sets, Bubble board, vac-formed trays and foam inserts.
The Correx material is also easy to clean and provides excellent longevity.

How do collapsible totes work?
Thanks to a clever design, collapsible Correx® totes can be folded flat when not used. They can be assembled (and fixed using poppers or other fixings) to ensure their strength and durability through the supply chain.
Why should I use collapsible totes?
The main benefit of collapsible totes is that your team can fold them flat when not in use. This feature not only saves you expensive warehousing space but also means you do not pay to ship empty space inside the totes on any return journeys.
What are these tote boxes manufactured from?
Collapsible totes are usually manufactured from Correx®. Correx® is a corrugated plastic (polypropylene) which allows for fabrication into a range of returnable packaging. It is also resistant to water, grease, and most chemicals. Correx is also strong, durable, and provides excellent longevity.
What colour totes are available?
You can specify your collapsible tote boxes in various colours, including white, black, grey, green, blue, yellow, and red. You can also choose to add print and branding to your containers’ outer surfaces.
Can I get ESD-safe versions of these collapsible totes?
If you are transporting sensitive electronic items, an ESD-safe version of these collapsible totes is available. Manufactured using Corriplast (effectively a conductive Correx®), they offer all the benefits of the standard tote boxes with added static protection.
