What colours can timber packing cases be?
Timber packing cases can be painted in virtually any RAL colour. RAL is a colour management system widely used in industrial applications in Europe, with approximately 2,800 colour options.
Can I add branding or other information to my wooden cases?
In addition to choosing a colour for your painted timber cases, you can have branding, handling symbols, part numbers, and other important information stencilled on their exterior surfaces.
Can I use timber cases instead of plastic?
Timber cases are a viable alternative to plastic cases such as Peli, Explorer, and SKB when full waterproofing is not a priority. Typically lower cost, they are also a suitable option when longevity matters less than with plastic cases. Timber cases are often lighter, use renewable resources and are easily recyclable at the end of their usable life.
Can painted timber cases include foam inserts?
You can significantly enhance timber cases with custom foam inserts. The foam can be manufactured to fit your product precisely and provide specific levels of cushioning protection (calculated using advanced software). Foam inserts can also help with packing and unpacking.
What material are painted timber cases manufactured from?
Painted timber cases are commonly manufactured using plywood. Depending on the case size, they may also use timber battens for strength, whilst it is also possible to use OSB material (although this is less rigid).
