SKB iSeries Buying Guide

SKB started out manufacturing cases for musical instruments (their very first case was for a guitar). However, they quickly grew to become one of the best-known case manufacturers, supplying a huge range of options throughout the world (they still produce instrument cases to this day, alongside specialist audio visual, drone, sport and gun cases).

Manufactured using injection moulding, SKB iSeries cases utilise a unique, ultra-high strength polypropylene which is claimed to be 20 – 30% lighter than alternative waterproof cases, whilst also being 2.5 times stronger. Another key selling point of SKB iSeries cases is the wide range of models available. With almost 60 different size options, it is one of the largest currently available (rivalling the other established case option, Peli Protector).
