02: Why Use Rota Mould Cases?
Extra tough, military spec cases supplied and customised by GWP
GWP Protective are proud to announce that we are now official distributors of the Hardigg™ range of rotationally moulded cases.
Manufactured in the US, and part of the Peli™ Case family, the “single lid” range of rotationally moulded cases comes in 15 colours, including everything from NATO green to infrared reflective, and is available with hinged, removable or extra deep lids.
Our customers can select from the entire range of 300 standard single lid case sizes, which is by far the largest catalogue of rotationally moulded cases in the industry.
As well as this choice of sizes, shapes and colours, GWP can also further customise these for you through the engineering and manufacture of foam inserts.
03: Hardigg™ Case Features.
Extra tough cases with a range of features and benefits
Due to the cases reliability they are often seen as a key component in many “mission critical” operations – where equipment failure is not an option – thereby preventing a snowball effect of a single breakdown leading to potentially catastrophic failures further down the line.
As such, a large proportion of the rotationally moulded plastic cases that GWP Protective supply are used for military and offshore shipments.
The rotational moulding process creates a finished plastic case which provides impact resistant protection, is watertight, airtight, dustproof and corrosion-proof.
They are also designed for the easiest and most efficient handling, loading, and stacking and load movement is also eliminated with a unique Inter-Stacking Pattern (ISP).
The system is compatible across 64 different case sizes, from 0,018 to 0,576 cubic metres of storage and, as the 10x10cm squared pattern bottom matches with the cube pattern on the protective case below, literally falls and locks into place.
04: Custom Rota Mould Case Options.
Custom foam inserts, electronics bezel kits, branding and more
There is a wide number of ways in which you can customise your Hardigg™ Rota Mould cases.
Firstly, there are a wide number of standard options from Hardigg™ themselves.
This includes being able to add feet, specific handles and catches, tethering points, pressure relief valves and differing hinges too.
It is also possible to specify bespoke case colours (if ordering a high enough volume), plus you can specific semi bespoke sizes by using a “cut and shut” method during manufacture. This also allows you to alter the lid / base ration too if required.
There are also a number of customisation options that GWP Protective can specifically offer.
This includes custom foam inserts, which are tailored to your products exactly. These foam inserts can also be different colours, can have logos and instructions laser etched directly onto the material, and can even be manufactured to provide specific levels of cushioning during transit (usually determined by the products being protected).
It is also possible to add exterior branding using screen printing, or adding labels and vinyl graphics too.
