Extra tough single lid roto cases
Roto X cases (as the name would suggests) are one of the number of cases manufactured by SKB using rotational moulding.
This actually provides the RX series cases with a number of inherent advantages by default. Rotationally moulded cases have thicker material at the corners and edges (and thinner walls) due to the nuances of the manufacturing process. However, this has obvious benefits in terms of strength whilst keeping weight down.
The result is a rotomolded case that provides excellent strength and longevity, with RX series cases being amongst the toughest single lid shipping cases available.
With the range having been developed over a number of years, there are also models designed with specific applications in mind. This includes Tool Cases, Foot Lockers, Square Cases and the Truck Pack container.
SKB Roto X Case features
The Roto X cases provide a number of features designed to aid usability too.
Most notably, this includes a moulded in pattern than allows for compatible cases to be safely stacked. This not only allows for more efficient use of space when in storage or transit, but also helps to further minimise damage too (as the cases are more stable and less likely to damage each other).
Recessed, heavy duty twist latches also ensure the cases remain secure even if mishandled, and the they can also be locked using separate padlocks.
Spring loaded handles provide a safe and comfortable way to move the cases, whilst there is also the option for heavy duty wheels to provide even greater mobility.
