More info on Maxado Cases

Popular and fast-growing protective case manufacturer

Although established since 1995, Maxado are one of the younger plastic case manufacturers in today’s market. Despite that, they have quickly forged a reputation for high quality cases with innovative features. They now manufacture thousands of cases each week.

Their success – and the popularity of their cases – is based on a number of factors.

Utilising a high-quality polypropylene material, their injection moulding process creates plastic cases which are not only lightweight, but also surprisingly durable, hard wearing and long lasting. Their cases are also amongst the most competitively priced in the current market.

Maxado cases can also provide a level of protection appropriate for differing applications. For example, SPI cases, with their lightweight construction, are perfect for presenting samples and light duty use.

The Excellent Solid series however is considerably more robust, utilising a unique honeycomb, double wall structure to provide much higher levels of strength. As such, these cases are an ideal alternative to Peli™ type cases where full water resistance is not required.

All of the features of the Maxado case range work seamlessly too. And small details – such as the ability to mix and match the case colours with contrasting catches, or the hinges that allow for cases to remain open at 90 degrees on their own – show the levels of thought that has gone into these carry cases.

Customising Maxado Cases

Each of the Maxado cases – including the Excellent (Solid and Steady series) and SPI case ranges – are perfect for enhancing with a range of custom options.

Perhaps most obviously, adding custom foam inserts can provide a wealth of benefits.

This includes improving organisation of tools or equipment inside the cases, with a dedicated recess for each item. These pockets can also be in contrasting colours (shadow-board effect) to highlight if something is missing. Similarly, varying foam colours can also be used to vastly improve presentation too.

Foam inserts will also provide the highest levels of protection from shock, impact and mishandling.

When considering presentation, Maxado cases can be branded in a number of different ways too.

This includes simple options, such as affixing labels or vinyl graphics to the smooth exterior surfaces of the cases. However, these surfaces are also perfect for printing – either via basic screen (for block logos) or digital (including detailed, intricate graphics) methods. It is even possible to have photographic quality imagery moulded into the case during manufacture – a process called in mould labelling.

All of this means that whatever your intended use, Maxado cases should be a strong consideration.

Maxado Case FAQs

Commonly asked questions regarding these plastic cases

Think that Maxado cases might be a good option for your business, but have some questions first? The below section aims to cover the most frequently asked of these.

If you cannot find the details you need however, then please contact one of GWP’s case experts on 01722 416 440 or email protective@gwp.co.uk

Who are Maxado?

Maxado are a Dutch company, based in Eindhoven. They started manufacturing cases in 1995 and now manufacture many thousands of units each week.

What colour Maxado cases are there?

Maxado cases are available in 8 standard hues, using the RAL colour system. These are black (RAL 9005), white (RAL 9016), grey (RAL 7024), navy (RAL 5002), yellow (RAL 1021), blue (RAL 5005), green (RAL 6029), red (RAL 3020) and transparent.

What are differences between SPI, Excellent Steady, and Excellent Solid?

Maxado have created a number of different cases for differing applications. The SPI range is the lightest option (and the lowest cost), whilst the Excellent Steady series is a good mid-range case. The Excellent Solid option is the heaviest duty plastic case they supply, with a double wall construction making it suitable as a non-waterproof Peli™ case alternative.

What are Maxado cases manufactured from?

Maxado cases are manufactured from a high-quality polypropylene material. This means their cases are light in weight, yet also provide good durability and strength. They also boast a long usable lifespan and are easy to clean and add branding too.

Do Maxado make cases from any other materials?

Maxado also manufacture the Aluminium Extreme case which, as the name would suggest, is produced using aluminium. These are water resistant, anodised to prevent rust, and intended for heavy usage (in a similar vein to the Zarges Eurobox and K470 ranges).

Can Maxado cases be printed?

All Maxado (plastic) cases can be printed. This includes both screen and direct digital printing methods. The cases can also have graphics added during manufacture, through the use of the in mould labelling technique.

Is it possible to have Maxado cases with foam inserts?

Maxado cases are perfect for enhancing with custom foam inserts. This not only allows for improved presentation and organisation of items within the case, but also provides the highest levels of protection too. Your foam inserts can also be colour coordinated with the outer case and / or your brand identity.
