As the name would suggest, Excellent cases from Maxado are a great choice for a range of applications.
But how do you know if these plastic carry cases are a good option for your business? Or if they can be enhanced in order to provide the full range of characteristics to make them suitable for your intended use?
The below guide sets out the key information that you will allow you to assess whether Excellent cases should be considered for use at your company. Still can’t find the info you need? Then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

What are Maxado Excellent Cases?
Versatile plastic carry cases with range of options and performance
Whilst there are a huge number of different carry case options available, it is unusual for there to effectively be two distinct variations within a single range. But that is exactly what Maxado have done with their Excellent Cases.
The Steady Series are a typical, injection moulded case range that provides a good balance between cost, features and durability.
Excellent Steady cases are available in 12 sizes and 8 colours as standard and are known for their design that maximises the available space within the case. Their light weight also makes them easy to handle.

The Solid Series however provides a heavier duty option. With chunkier design and a double wall construction (with a honeycomb centre) this set of cases provides a much more robust level of performance.
Similar to the Hofbauer Megabag and Quantum T, plus the WAG Heavy cases, the double wall construction allows for enhanced protection of the contents. These cases are available in 12 (generally larger) sizes too.
Regardless of the case range chosen, Excellent cases offer a wide range of features, benefits and options as standard. This includes being resistant to oils and petroleum-based chemicals / substances, as well as being manufactured from an “environmentally neutral” polypropylene.
Any Maxado Excellent case can also be enhanced by GWP Protective with engineered foam inserts and exterior print / branding.
Maxado Excellent Case Features
Clever, standard features of Maxado Excellent Cases
Besides how tough a protective case is, their success can often be measured by how usable the cases are. This is why the large case manufacturers now try to pack as much usability into their ranges as possible.
Maxado Excellent cases take this to the next level however. Please see below for further details of the key features these cases offer.

A
Catch: The durable and well-built catches operate independently of each other, and provide a very secure closure (keeping the contents of the cases safe and secure). The catches can also be specified in matching or contrasting colours from the main case body.
B
Handle: Moulded into the main body of the case, the handles on Maxado cases are not only comfortable to use, but also exceptionally strong and robust too.
C
Branding Area: Besides the straight, clean lines of the Excellent cases providing an attractive appearance (and maximising the internal space / volume too), they also provide excellent branding potential. This is typically added with either screen or digital printing directly onto the cases’ surface.
D
Feet: The moulded feet on the base allow for the case to be stood upright when not in use. This not only minimises storage requirements, but also makes handling of the case easier too.
E
Hinge: The durable moulded hinge not only provides easy operation and a long lifespan, but also allows for the cases to open 180 degrees as well.

Applications
Typical uses for Maxado Excellent Cases
Although it is said regarding many cases, Maxado Excellent are a genuinely versatile option. This is largely thanks to the variations between the Solid and Steady series.
As such, this makes these carry cases suitable for a range of applications. Please see below for further details of these.
Service Engineers
Service engineers, installation crews and anyone taking tools or equipment out on to site can benefit from using Maxado cases.
Excellent cases can be configured with foam inserts that allows for vastly improved organisation (and therefore efficiency) of staff when out on jobs, and using shadow boards can even help minimise loss of equipment etc.
Depending on the likely handling ad environmental conditions, either the Steady series (for more lightweight applications) or the Solid series (for heavier duty) can be selected as appropriate.
In fact, the Solid series is a great, lower cost alternative to waterproof cases such as those manufactured by Peli™, Explorer, Nanuk etc.

Sales Presentations
Although this is not something the Solid series of cases is suited to, Excellent Steady cases are a good choice for sales teams.
Used to present samples – and enhanced with branding – Excellent cases provide a fairly robust yet still attractive option for showcasing products or samples in sales pitches and meetings.
Plus, with the potential to add foam inserts and printed branding – in addition to the range of bright colour options – it is possible to select a sample case with a strong visual impact.
Tool / Equipment Hire
Excellent cases are also ideal for the purpose of keeping hired tools and equipment safe.
Their robust design provides ample protection for most applications, whilst foam inserts can also alert users if an item is missing (with the brighter part of the tool control foam providing a visual reminder).

Retail
The variations in the Excellent cases mean they can be used or various types of added value packaging applications (i.e. for retail products).
This could be for small sets of tools, collectibles or models, all the way through to heavier duty DIY items such as drills or automotive equipment.
Medical
The smooth sides of Excellent Cases makes them easy to clean, whilst the addition of foam inserts can also help to protect sensitive, delicate and / or expensive equipment.
As a result, Excellent cases are frequently used for medical applications.
