The coloured office bins can be supplied in a standard size of 400 mm (wide) x 400 mm (deep) x 680 mm (high) or manufactured bespoke to your requirements (subject to order volume).

What size are these eco bins?

The standard (and most commonly requested) size of these recycling bins is 400 mm (wide) x 400 mm (deep) x 680 mm (high). However, these can be manufactured to any size / design you require (although this will be subject to a minimum order quantity).

What do the different colours represent?

By default, the standard colours of these office bins are as follows. Red is for plastics (bottles & other plastic waste); green is for general waste (including textile, wood, glass); Blue is for paper; and grey is for metals (e.g. empty drinks cans).

Can I have custom printed recycling bins?

It is possible to add branding, logos, instructions, and even full graphics to your office recycling bins as required (although a minimum order quantity does apply). This makes them perfect for corporate environments, or for waste management companies to give to customers.

I need a very specific size – is this possible?

As GWP have an extensive design team, and manufacture these bins ourselves, the possibilities are almost limitless. This means that you can specify sizes, designs, colours, materials and even specialist coatings.

Are these suitable for use outside?

Due to the nature of corrugated cardboard – even when treated with a waterproof coating – these would not be suitable for outside use. The exception to this is for temporary use (such as at events) where they only need to have a short lifespan.

Can these be used in medical / clean room applications?

Cardboard is not suitable for use in clean room or medical applications, as it is difficult to clean and can shed fibres which may contaminate samples etc. However, if bins of this type are required, then using Correx® plastic is a suitable option.
