Korrvu bottle pack with bottle

If you ship any individual glass bottles to your customers, Korrvu bottle packs are an efficient way to do this whilst maintaining high protection levels.

Korrvu bottle packs are cardboard inserts with a film that, when folded, holds a bottle in place. Users then place the insert and contents into a traditional outer box. This design prevents damage to bottles during shipping. The whole pack, including the film, can be placed in kerbside recycling collections after use. Read more

About Korrvu bottle packs

Korrvu bottle packs use an innovative, non-slip film that braces bottles within the insert. By preventing movement in this way during transit, it provides excellent protection for glass bottles. Eliminating damage to expensive products such as wine or spirits can significantly reduce your business’ costs.

The protection provided by Korrvu is so effective that it meets ISTA 3A Transit Test requirements.

The design of the Korrvu insert also means it can accommodate most bottles up to 750 ml. Unlike other inserts, it can cope with a range of different bottle shapes and styles, helping to reduce your packaging inventory.

Ease of use

Besides preventing costly damage to wine and other glass bottles during shipping, Korrvu bottle packs also benefit your packaging staff.

Firstly, the Korrvu inserts are supplied flat, reducing the storage space required before use.

Besides this, the packs are quick and easy to use. Your staff simply place the bottle to be shipped under the film before folding the cardboard flaps backwards. This process tightens the film, holding the bottle in place similarly to Korrvu retention packaging.

Your packing staff then place the insert inside an outer cardboard box before it is sealed and shipped.

Besides these benefits, Korrvu also helps to eliminate additional void fill, such as air sacs or foam pellets. Adding these creates another process, ultimately slowing down fulfilment times.

Customers and sustainability

Another advantage of reducing excessive amounts of void fill is improved sustainability.

Korrvu bottle inserts allow for smaller outer pack sizes compared to other inserts. Smaller packs reduce not only your shipping costs but also CO2 emissions.

Customers also benefit from a much enhanced unboxing experience, with the film displaying their purchase upon opening.

Consumers also do not have the burden of disposing of large amounts of void fill. Korrvu can be placed in paper recycling streams, as the film is separated similarly to packing tape during recovery.

And finally, the film contains at least 30% recycled material, whilst the corrugated element is as much as 80% and is fully recyclable.

What are Korrvu bottle packs?

Korrvu bottle packs use a non-slip film to hold bottles in place and prevent damage during shipping. Packing staff simply insert a bottle or other contents into the Korrvu insert before placing it into a traditional outer box. The pack protects against transit damage by eliminating movement during shipping.

Can Korrvu be recycled?

UK household recycling streams accept Korrvu. Although the film itself is not recycled, this is removed during the recovery process, as packing tape would be. Recipients of Korrvu packaging can place the whole pack in their appropriate recycling bin.

Is Korrvu bottle packaging the same as other Korrvu options?

Korrvu bottle packs use the same principle as the retention packaging from the same range. The film effectively stops the bottle from moving and keeps it away from the walls of the outer container.

What size bottles can Korrvu accommodate?

Korrvu can accommodate most bottle sizes and shapes up to 750 ml. This versatility can help reduce the size of your packaging inventory, as you can keep a much smaller range of inserts to cover most applications.

What is the ISTA 3A transit test?

ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) 3A transit test replicates the conditions an individually packaged product would face if shipped through a typical parcel delivery service. The test covers standard, small, elongated and flat pack designs distributed via road or air. Korrvu bottle packs pass this test.

Bespoke Korrvu pricing

Whilst Korrvu bottle packs are, in effect, a stock product, prices can still vary for several reasons. Factors include the selected option, the required quantity, and outer pack options such as style and printing. This reason is why you cannot find prices listed on this site.
