What is Corrispring manufactured from?

Corrispring is manufactured from a durable, single wall corrugated cardboard. This allows the inserts to remain lightweight (helping with handling and transit costs), but also be robust enough to protect your items in transit. The specific material however will usually be tailored to your requirements, based on the product / application in which Corrispring will be used.

How does Corrispring work?

Corrispring is essentially a piece of cardboard material folded to act like a spring. Replacing traditional foam inserts, it protects products in two ways. Firstly, it helps to prevent movement of the items within the outer container. And if the outer carton is dropped or suffers an impact, the springs act to cushion the contents too.

Can Corrispring replace foam inserts?

There are many scenarios where Corrispring can be used as an alternative to foam inserts. However, there are a large number of factors that come into play when ascertaining which would be the most suitable insert to use. Is Corrispring recyclable?

Corrispring, being manufactured from corrugated cardboard, is fully recyclable and biodegradable. However, it must also be noted that many of the foams used as packaging materials today are manufactured from Polyethylene, which is itself recyclable too.
